A Nasty Incident

It was such a sweltering afternoon that I decided to take a short cut home. The back alley was definitely cooler. As I turned into the back alley, it had an unpleasant smell. The back alley was full of rubbish. Out of the blue, I saw a fierce-looking man hiding behind a dumpster. I felt suspicious but I was also afraid that the man could see me so I observed the man from far away.

After a while, I saw the man ambush a little kid. Then, he was gagged with a piece of cloth and tied up with a rope. He was brought into a cramped and dimly lit room. The kidnapper asked for a ransom of RM250 from the little boy. I couldn’t see the man’s face because he wore a mask. I quickly called the police as well as the ambulance. The kidnapper kicked and punched the boy as he did not have enough money. The boy was dazed.

Just then, I saw a passer-by and asked him for help because the boy was in danger. I was outrage that the man did not bother to help the boy. After being hit a few times, the boy fainted and was bleeding profusely.

A minute later, the police arrived at the scene. They warned the kidnapper to surrender but he refused, so the police fired a few warning shots. The kidnapper had no choice but to surrender.

After a while, the little boy woke up. There were bruises all over his body. The kidnapper was arrested and brought to the police station. The injured boy was sent to the hospital.

After everyone left the scene, I walked home and told my parents about the incident.
